So who is Toni Randall???

I
am a 44 year old wife, Mom and business owner. I grew up in the Bay Area and have made my life a part of this community.

My family has owned and operated Kemah Hardware and Supply for 48 years. From the age of seven working after school, I was already a part of the family business.  I assumed responsibility for the daily operations about 20 years ago. Since then, the business has grown and prospered.

My parents instilled honesty, integrity, and a great work ethic in me and my brother. My brother created, owns, and operates an international chemical company based in Pearland. Our family takes pride in the quality of our businesses and the service that we provide our community.

My husband, Randy and I married 24 years ago and moved to
League City. We have a twelve year old son, Chandler. During the past several years I had been focusing my time and efforts on growing and expanding the business, while quietly supporting and contributing to numerous organizations and clubs in League City and the Bay Area.

As I’ve already heard it rumored, I want to clarify that I am not running for the Mayor of League City because of the Seminole Bridge fiasco in Glen Cove or the attempt to close the Clear Creek Gun Range. We have many more issues in League City needing the attention of concerned elected officials.  These are just two of many!

Through my business, I come in contact with the residents, contractors, and business owners of League City every day. For the past couple of years, I have listened to the growing concerns regarding the management of the city.  My recent personal encounters involving city officials have illustrated and reinforced the things that I have heard from others.  I have begun to understand the frustration that the people of League City are feeling, so much so that I have decided that I want to be a force of change for League City

I have decided to run for the office of mayor because I hear on the street from many citizens of League City who have lost faith and trust in our city government and its leader.  Residents are being pushed aside for development dollars. Rather than being opposed to development, I believe that our Mayor needs to be more willing to listen to the concerns of the residents. City Hall should be more open and accountable to our present citizens, who are having to ‘make do’ while the city provides for all the new growth.  Believing strongly that political and personal agendas should NOT be a part of city government, it is obvious that our current leadership is not taking our community in the best direction for our future.
